He was predeceased by: his parents, Enise Egly and Mae Egly; his wife Lucille Clark; his siblings, Kathleen Schmidt, Enid Schmit and Robert Egly; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Egly.
He is survived by: his children, Melinda Johnson (Paul) of Frederick, SD, LaVern Egly (Sandy) of Blunt, SD and Roger Egly (Sue) of Oelrichs, SD. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in Donald's name to benefit the new fire hall for the Oelrichs Volunteer Fire Department, Oelrichs SD.
