It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale L. Lockhart of Hot Springs, South Dakota, born in Kimball, Nebraska, who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Clair "Bush" and Blanche Lucille Lockhart (Shapley); his son Clint; his daughter-in-law Kaylea; his parents-in-law, Marlis Sunding and Marv Sunding; and his siblings-in-law, Lora and Charles "Bud" Merrill.
He is survived by: his children, Ryon Lockhart (Wendi) of Nebraska, Lance Lockhart of South Dakota, Cody Lockhart of South Dakota, Brandon Lockhart (Alisha) of South Dakota, Vicky Varga (Allan) and Tim Lockhart of Arizona; and his siblings, Keith Lockhart and Doris Merrill. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
