It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth R. Schumacher of Hosmer, South Dakota, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Neifer and Rosina Neifer (Hieb); her husband Melvin Schumacher; her son Dean; her siblings, Jacob Neifer, Tillman Neifer, Ruben Neifer, Lenhart Neifer, Wanitha Jung, Calvin Neifer and Ella; and her nephew Allan Jung, Sr..
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Darren Schumacher (Amy) and Dawn Malsam (Brian); her daughter-in-law Bonnie Schumacher; and her great grandchildren, Declan, Liam, Cormac Schumacher, Sydnee, Paxton and Rory Malsam. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
