Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his brothers, Ivan Schumacher (Arvella) of Hosmer and Leo Schumacher of Aberdeen; and his in-laws, Luella Schumacher, Elaine Schumacher, Alvin Preszler and Kenneth Kramlich. He is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lien Funeral Home (3082 2nd Ave, Bowdle, SD 57428). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (406 Chapman Ave, Hosmer, SD 57448).
