She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Geist (Jundt) and Jacob Geist; her son Steven; and her siblings, Otto (Claudia), Markus (Esther), Sam (Marion), Johnny Geist and Leah Knapp (Edwin).
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Pietz of Hosmer, Linda Heilman (Jack) of Brandon, SD, Jean Heier (Len), Sandra Flittie (Bruce) of Hosmer and Marilyn Anderson (Mark) of Nokomis, FL; her grandchildren, Michelle Thielen (Jon), Amanda VerHelst (Derek), Brett Flittie, Jarrod Anderson, Sörine Anderson, Stephanie Johnson (Travis), Kimberly Poppen (Sam), Tyler Pietz (Lois), Logan Pietz (Kris) and Collin Pietz; her great grandchildren, Evie, Ryker, Brynlee, Clara, Connor, Desmond and Penny; and her sister-in-law Virginia Geist of Alamogordo, NM. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
