He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon D. Schmeichel and Mary Schmeichel (Wipf). He is survived by: his wife Julie Reno of Hitchcock; and his stepmother Lila Hofer of Huron. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, in-laws, outlaws and many good friends.
