With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Darwin Walter of Hitchcock, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Walter and Lena Ruby Walter Hoelzel (Tschetter); his stepfather Carl Hoelzel; and his brother Ronald. He is survived by: his brother Lynn (Alice); his nephew William "Bill" Walter (Marsha); his niece Tasma "Taz" Paye-Wilke (Patrick); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Abigail "Abi" Walter, Alison Wilke, Caleigh Wilke, Gustaf "Gus" Walter, Bradley Wilke, Luca Herzog and Bailey.
