He is survived by: his wife Merry Swaney; his children, Darwin Burton (Carol) of Hitchcock, Teri Zerr (Mark) of Aberdeen, Kerwin Burton (Lori) of Gillette and Vicki Davis (Doug) of Miller; his grandchildren, Dallas Burton (Lacey), Tyler Burton (Jen), Mattie Zerr (Zachary Ulmer), Corey Burton (De), Brandi Holley (Scott), Brittni Burton, Brendan Letsche (Alyssa Reyelts), Devin Letsche (Rachel Oligmueller), Justin Vrooman, Kierra Donahue, Stephanie Litzen (Zerr), Mitch Zerr, Angie Miller (Zerr), Chelsea Droz (Taylor), Danielle Davis (Andy Grape) and Heather Murray (Cutter); his great grandchildren, Eastlyn, Dayson Burton, Caven, Elle, Hudson Holley, Renner Burton, Quent and Carson Bourne; his sisters, Jeannine Hoffman (Gene) of Dell Rapids and Marilyn Frahm of Jamestown, ND; and his brother-in-law Lyle Mullner of Cheyenne, WY..
