It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis Junior Compton of Hill City, South Dakota, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Compton and Eva Compton; and his wife Charlotte Sutton of Albion, NE. He is survived by: his children, Lewis Compton (Charlene) of Custer, SD, Kathy Chamberlain of Hill City, SD, Becky Huber (Vernon) of Huron, SD and Jon Compton (Tammy) of Helena, MT. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
