It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Frederick Bauer of Hill City, South Dakota, who passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Bauer (Kaiser) and Joseph E Bauer; and his grandsons, Nicholas Renshaw and Tommy Ray Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Mary June Bauer; his children, Mary Jo Neisius (Jeff Fox), June Peterson (Jim), Kay Bublitz and Joe Bauer; and his grandchildren, Shanna Martin (Russ), Stephanie Johnson, Scot Johnson, Andrew Neisius (Mallory) and Cameron Bauer (Dawn). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to the Tin City Masonic Lodge.
