It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles A. Piper Jr. (Hill City, South Dakota), born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on June 20, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Piper and Christine Piper (Gillette); his son Richard; and his stepdaughter Shannon Wright. He is survived by: his wife Sharon McCoy; his children, John Piper (Vicki), Marshall Piper (Lynne), Marian Alexander (Craig) and Louisa Piper; his grandchildren, Morgan Piper, Teryn Piper, Logan Piper, Matt Alexander, Ross Alexander, Callie Piper, Candice Sano, Piper Ferrell, Alex Piper and Alicia Piper; his stepgrandson Jeff Turman; and his sister Lois Dalgliesh.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Naja Shrine Hospital Transportation Fund.
