Royal Kutz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Royal Kutz of Highmore, South Dakota, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto William and Ruth Marie Kutz (Traver); his grandfather Shorty; his brothers, Carl, Richard, Harold, John, Don, Dale and Myron; and his parents-in-law, Harley and Esther Dalton.
He is survived by: his wife LaVonne; his children, Steven Kutz of Highmore, Sheila Gregg (Rex) of Sioux Falls and Lori Ellsworth (Jeff) of Macs Corner; his grandchildren, Matt Kutz (Kassie), Adam Kutz (Jessica), Brandy Skovly (Don), Mary McGillivray (Mike), TJ Ellsworth (Melanie), Tyrel Ellsworth (Lacey) and Desa Clement (Kyle); and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Kutz, Grace Heckenlaible (Darold) and Marvin Dalton (Barb). He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (515 4th St SE, Highmore, SD 57345). A prayer was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
