With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Ashdown of Highmore, South Dakota, born in Pierre, South Dakota, who passed away on January 10, 2021 at the age of 56. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mike Ashdown to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Carl Ashdown; his uncles, Leslie Ashdown, Glenn, Hugh Ashdown and Jerry Duchene; and his aunt Ruth Robertson (Ashdown).

He is survived by: his mother Lilly Ashdown (Duchene) of Highmore; his significant other Shauna Vlcek; his children, Tristan Michael of Clarksville, TN and Taylor Marie; his sister Terry; and his brother-in-law Todd Marks of Harrisburg, SD.. He is also survived by friends with their wives, children, parents and sometimes family pets.
