We bid farewell to Jerry Schuette of Highmore, South Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 2, 2024 at the age of 52. Jerry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clayton, Gladys Wilcox, Bill and Adaline Schuette. He is survived by: his parents, Jim Schuette and Judy Schuette (Wilcox) of Highmore; his wife Kathy Gimbel; his children, Rebecca of Highmore, Courtney of Highmore, Caleb of Miller and Brennan of Miller; his sisters, Peggy and Sheryl; his in-laws, Delton and Shirley Gimbel; his sisters-in-law, Mandy Gimbel-Fink (Andrew) and Kristina Gonzalez (Manuel); his nephew Isaac Fink; and his nieces, Isabel Fink, Joslyn, Lana, Naomi, Valerie and Hope Gonzalez. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (515 4th St SE, Highmore, SD 57345). A prayer was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Highmore Cemetery.
