It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores M Matre of Highmore, South Dakota, born in Miller, South Dakota, who passed away on June 21, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil I. Fisher and Frances Fisher (Parker); her husband Donald; her stepmother Ona Fisher; her half-sister Sheila Black; and her parents-in-law, Paul and Dollie Mae Matre.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teri Matre-Kirchner (Mike) of Highmore and Susan Pautsch (Mark) of Kalispell, MT; her granddaughters, Kim Borge (Brandon) of Pierre and Debra Hight (Joe Schuring) of Dell Rapids; her great grandchildren, Mikayla Hight of Dell Rapids, Chase Hight of Dell Rapids and Krew Schuring of Dell Rapids; and her siblings-in-law, Fern and Charles Droz of Miller. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
