We bid farewell to Connie Brueggeman of Highmore, South Dakota, born in Mitchell, South Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 20, 2024 at the age of 77. Connie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford "Bill" Paynter and Priscilla Paynter (Newell); her daughter-in-law Heidi Brueggeman; her brother-in-law Alan Brueggeman; her nephew Kip Brueggeman; and her pet Tuffy.
She is survived by: her husband Ken; her sons, Billy of Highmore and Patrick (Kristin) of Pierre; her grandchildren, Austin, Brennen (Emily), Collin, Aiden, Sophia and Carrie (Jim) of Highmore; her children, Carson and Carly; her brothers, Jim (Susie) and Richard; her in-laws, Ronnie (Suzi), Susan Walker (Jerry), Melvin (Debbie), Terry (Pam) and Sharon Brueggeman; and also Miranda. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be directed to Steps for Hope and the Hyde County Library.
