It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice E. Buchheim of Highmore, South Dakota, who passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ole Cherland and Mary "Nellie" Cherland; her husband Harold Buchheim; her children, Mary Thorson (Mike), Linda Boschee (Joel), Shirley Morton, Elmer Buchheim (Shelly), Gladys Volek (John), Marilyn Krick (Junie), Melvin Buchheim (Betty Ann) and Thelma Hirsch (Rex); her son-in-law Tim; and her great grandchild Digger. She was also cherished by 16 Grandchildren; 31 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
