It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Sattler of Herreid, South Dakota, who passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sattler and Lydia Sattler (Fuhrer); his wife Arlene Spitzer; his son Kevin; his brother James; and his brother-in-law Terry Hansen.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra Lee Sattler (Weisbeck); his sister Ruth Hansen; his grandchildren, Josh Weisbeck (Melissa), Cassie Haak (Tom), Bryce Weisbeck (Anna), Lee Weisbeck (Anne), Mitch Weisbeck (Brie), Cody Sattler, Andy Sattler (Erica) and Leah Sattler; and his sister-in-law Jan Ochsner (Vern). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
