He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Arledge and Francis Arledge; and his siblings, Charles Arledge, James Arledge and Barbra Arledge.

He is survived by: his wife Amy; his children, Jonathon Merit Arledge, David Alva Lee Arledge, Meagan Elizabeth Arledge, Camron James Arledge and Jacob Charles Arledge; his stepsons, Andrew John McKinstry and Austin Dean McKinstry; his grandsons, Lucas Merit Arledge and Gabriel Alva Edward Arledge; and his siblings, Frances Schumack, John Arledge, Dortha Cortes, Ludie Brown, Susan Arledge, Patrica Phillips and April Cartwright.

Due to COVID restrictions, the service is limited in the number of people able to attend but it will be live streamed and can be viewed on Kirk Funeral Home's website.
