With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John T. Sunding of Hermosa, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John T. Sunding to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his in-law Ronald Heetland (Gretchen); his siblings, Loren Sunding and Joyce Thompson; his grandson Jordan Mutschler; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Sunding and Gary Heetland.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Heetland of Hermosa, SD; his daughters, Kim Balabon (Joe), Jennifer Mutschler (Jon) of Bricelyn, MN, Sara Salisbury (Tom) of Wells, MN and Lisa Sunding of Kiester, MN; his grandsons, Brandon Mutschler (Katy) of Mounds View, MN, Blake Mutschler (Brittany) of Kiester, MN, Nicholas Sunding (Quinlin Tuttle) of Hermosa, SD and Cody Paal (Maddie Hassebroek) of Wells; his great grandchildren, Lorelei, Soran Mutschler, Cal and Tripp Mutschler; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Mutschler, Bruce Heetland (Dawn), Doyle Thompson and Bruce Sunding. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
