He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Hemstock and Florence Hemstock (Tubbs); his son Charles Thomas "Chuckie" (Chuckie); his former wife Rev. Joan F. Hemstock (Lindner); and his siblings, Merle Hemstock (Wayne), Dorothy Heiser (Toodie) and Donna Budde (Bunny).
He is survived by: his wife Ada; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Reilly Sanner and Dolores Jones (Ronald). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews.
