He was predeceased by: his parents, Wes Luken and Frances Luken; his wife Ila Mae of Hazel; his children, Neil Luken and Joy Kuhlman; his grandchildren, Heather and Virgil; his brother Dean; and his son-in-law John Gasper.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Clifford, Janet Struckman, Sherwin Linton, Brock Gasper, Jason Hutt, Adam Kuhlman, Caleb Kuhlman, Derek Luken and Eric Luken; his children, Curtis Luken (Jill) of Hazel, SD and Wanda Gasper of Black Hawk, SD; his children-in-law, Leah Luken of Watertown, SD and Myron Kuhlman of Hazel, SD; his sister Jean Fuerstenau of Guymon, OK.; and also Bobby Postal. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
