We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2023, at the age of 94, Doris L. Schamens of Hazel, South Dakota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris L. Schamens to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Johann "John" Kettwig and Anna Kettwig (Luken); her husband Albert Schamens; and her siblings, Johnny Kettwig, Harvey Kettwig, Raleigh Kettwig and Lena McNamara.

She is survived by: her children, Dianne Rider (Jon) of Hazel, SD, Harley Schamens of Hazel, SD and Kathy Monnens of Hazel, SD; and her sisters-in-law, Dorine Schamens and Virginia Schamens of Hastings, NE.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorials will be directed to the Hazel Cemetery.
