He is survived by: his wife Judy Arneson of Hayti, SD; his children, Deb Chitwood (Terry) of San Diego, CA, Kathy Casper (Todd) of Lake Preston, SD, Jill McNamara (Mark) of Hazel, SD, Tim Arneson of Lake Norden, SD and Kent Arneson of Hayti, SD; his grandchildren, Jen Baloun (Bryan), Jason Arneson (Teresa), William Chitwood (Chea), Christina Parkin (Tom), Monte Casper, Chantelle McCoy (Tyler) and Mitchell McNamara; his great grandchildren, Curstie Konold (Keith), Megan, Jared, Emma, Wyatt, Isabella, Zoey, Sophia, Caleb, Arabella, Tayrek, Tyce and Khaleesi; his great great grandchildren, Jase, Khloe and Laurel; his brother Charles Arneson; his stepbrother Raymond Kangas; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Arneson, Carolyn Childs, Annette Belkonen and Vicki Belkonen.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Hope Lutheran Church (44604 New Hope Rd, Hayti, SD 57241). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
