She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Chaney and Della Chaney (Harms); her daughter Paulette; and her siblings, Dorothy Mae Gillespie, Gladys Hedges, Wayne Chaney, Garland Chaney, Jr. (Bud) and Jim Chaney.
She is survived by: her husband John Trapp of Hartford; her children, Brenda Grogan of Madison, Angela Johnson (Jeff Stratmeyer) of Montrose, Bryan Trapp (Bonnie) of Sioux Falls, Debbie Kogel (Tom) of Woodstock, GA, Rick Trapp (Kathy Meyer) of Wentworth, Chad Trapp (Laura) of Pierre and Valerie Fouche (Schneider) of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Lucas Grogan, Lindsay Comes (Eric), Jeffrey Branson (Lindsay), Markus Branson (Chelsea), Chelsea Lewis, Marissa Tilstra (Caleb), Cody Trapp, Blake Kogel, Tanner Kogel (Hannah), Rachel Kogel, Taylor Trapp, Tate Trapp (Macaela), Clark Hoyt (Crystal), Nikki Hoyt, Levi Hoyt, Shawn Fouche and Vanessa Fouche; and her great grandchildren, Emily, Jozlynn, Julia, Landon, Elliot, Emme, Skyye, Jaxon, Taylor, Trinity, Shelby, Lainey and Leighton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
