He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Smith of Hartford, SD; his children, Rick Smith of Menno, SD, Dale Smith of Hartford, SD and Linda Smith of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Zachary (Tasha), Taylor Smith (Maca) of Brookings, SD, Tucker Smith (Julia) of Westminster, CO, Tara Smith of Sioux Falls, SD and Samantha Richeson (Izaak) of Delta Junction, AK; his grandson-in-law Peter Weise of Sioux Falls, SD; his great grandchildren, Ella Wiese, Mara Dammer, Alejandro Smith, Pippa Smith, Elijah Richeson, Atlas Richeson, Nevaeh Woods, Jack Smith and Sloan Smith; his siblings, Duane Smith (Judy) of Hermosa, SD and Joanne Robideau (Dean) of Mitchell, SD; and his daughter-in-law Brenda Smith of Crooks, SD.
