She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerritt DeVries and Henrietta DeVries (Cook); her husband Milo Lowe; her sons, Bruce and Larry Lowe; her grandson Jamie Lowe; and her daughter-in-law Julie Lowe.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Mettler of Sioux Falls, SD, Linda Hagen (Terry) of Hartford, SD, Dennis Lowe (Charlene) of Sioux Falls, SD, Doug Lowe of Chester, SD, Brian Lowe (Tammy) of Lake Preston, SD and Todd Lowe (Tina) of Hartford, SD; and her daughter-in-law Linda Lowe of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Of her many contributions to family and the community her greatest gift was for music.
