He was predeceased by: his wife Cornelia Rose Huebschman (Connie) of John's Lutheran Church; his parents, Felix Geide and Ella Geide; his siblings, Ruth Arends, Jean Gregersen, Lila Mae Anderson and Clair; his nephews, Lance Vogt and Allan Arends; his parents-in-law, Louis and Alvina Huebschman; and his siblings-in-law, Ethel Mulzer, Erma Berbaum, Norman, Edgar and Eugene Huebschman.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Rod; his children, Orrin Geide of Hartford and Joy Hohn (Rod) of Hartford; his grandchildren, Noah Hohn (Briana) and Camille Hohn of Hartford; his sister Donna Rae Vogt (George) of Groveland, FL; and his caregivers, Sandy Holzemer, Theresa Dyer and Rhonda DeJong.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (46448 263rd St, Hartford, SD 57033). A prayer was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
