With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arthur Ray Butenschoen of Hartford, South Dakota, who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur H. Butenschoen and Effie Butenschoen (Fincher); his wife Barbara Louise Lind; his sister Ardis Edman; and his granddaughter Emily Rensch.
He is survived by: his sister Ardis May; his daughters, Kim Rensch and Karrie Mueller (Joel); his grandchildren, Heather Rensch (Bill), Habben, Samantha Rensch, Relph, Elizabeth Caldwell (Shane), Josh Mueller, Jessica Mueller and Jolyssa Mueller; his great grandchildren, Lillian, Lukas Relph, Bruce, Gracie Habben, Emilia and Sean Caldwell; his sister Susan Edwardson; and his sister-in-law Mary Schriever.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dindot-Klusmann Funeral Home (408 S Main St, Lennox, SD 57039).
