It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miles Pete of Harrold, South Dakota, who passed away on October 25, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Joe; his sister Bennie; his wife Doris Heuer; his children, Bernice Walz (Kent) of Sioux Falls, SD, Arlene Black Bird of Swiftbird, SD, Dawn Palmer (Jim) of Belle Fourche, SD, Crystal St. John of Sioux Falls, SD and Duane St. John of Sioux Falls, SD; his parents, Solomon John and Ruth St. John (Sargent); his siblings, Benedicta Steve, Yvonne St. John, Odell, Guy, Justin St. John, Dominic and Kearney Red Water; and his children, Miles Pete St. John, Jr. and Debra Jo St. John. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
