He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernard Marso and Helen Marso (Burger); his son Frederick Jr.; his sister Lois; his brother-in-law R. O. Schmidt; his brother Robert (Bob); his sister-in-law Jackie Marso; and his siblings, Vivian Barge and Donald (Donnie).
He is survived by: his wife Anita Dohrer; his children, John Marso and Jennifer Potter (Steve); his granddaughter Jessica Unruh (Keith); his great grandchildren, Rhett and Adrian; his grandchildren, Nick Iversen, Cory Potter and Chelsea Baker (Austin); and his great grandchildren, Allie, Reed, Madelyn and Jack.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Isburg Funeral Chapels (439 S Pierre St, Pierre, SD 57501). A prayer was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Isburg Funeral Chapel (439 S Pierre St, Pierre, SD 57501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Riverside Cemetery (714 N Grand Ave, Pierre, SD 57501).
