He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Bollweg (Gregg) and Vincent Bollweg; and his grandparents, Bernard and Clara Gregg. He is survived by: his wife Judi Bollweg; his children, Michael Bollweg (Angie) of Harrold, SD and Melissa Berg (Barry) of Dell Rapids, SD; his grandchildren, Madison Bollweg, Regan Bollweg and Sierra Berg; his aunts, Joyce Norris of Rapid City, SD and Myrtle Cooper of Highmore, SD.; and his uncle Bill Beastrom of Pierre, SD.. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
