It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dawn Hillmer (Harrold, South Dakota), who passed away on October 26, 2019, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Murphy and Marilyn Murphy (Struss); her daughter Tonya Hillmer; her stepfather Gene Smith; and her brother Ronald Murphy.
She is survived by: her husband Tony Hillmer of Harrold; her children, Darlene Hillmer of Sioux Falls, Liz Julian (Damien) of Sioux Falls, Adam Hillmer of Spearfish, Michael Hillmer of Yankton, Sarah Hillmer, Rachael (Brayden) and Tony Jr. Hillmer (Allison) of Guam; her grandchildren, Malina Julian, Sunnie Julian, Malakai Julian, Beau Julian, Luthor Julian, Shaylynn Wullstein, Johnathan Wullstein, Devon Dunker and Michael Welch; and her brother Donnie Struss (Tracy) of Wisconsin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as a large extended family.
