He was predeceased by: his parents, Engel Plooster and Marie Plooster (Brink); and his daughter Karla Peter. He is survived by: his siblings, Willard, Arlo, Adrianna, Antoinette and Elsie; his wife Marlene Markus of Dell Rapids, SD; his children, Roger Plooster (Denise) of Sioux Falls, SD, Douglas Plooster (Sherryl) of Harrison, SD and Rhonda Priola of Brandon, SD; his son-in-law Louis Peter of Dell Rapids, SD; and his sisters-in-law, Arlene Plooster of Corsica, SD, Nona Markus of Mitchell, SD, Doris Markus of Corsica, SD and Dorothy Markus of Chamberlain, SD.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
