It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Lloyd Feekes (Harrisburg, South Dakota), who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Feekes and Grace Feekes (Lems); and his brothers, Howard and LeRoy. He is survived by: his family, Julie, Jason Ruud (Jess) and Jennifer Ruud; his sisters, Lavonne Cornelius and Sharon Rus (Ed); his sister-in-law Nancy Feekes; and his close friends, Trevor, Tyler Tesch and Darla Otten. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Harrisburg United Methodist Church (204 Grand Ave, Harrisburg, SD 57032). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
