It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lanelle Smith of Harrisburg, South Dakota, who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth Metzger and Marian Metzger (Lase) of Bancroft, NE; her husband Larry Smith; her children, Curtis Smith (Laura), Lennox and Sandra Galindo (Jacob); her grandchildren, Cian, Cameron, Kelton Smith, Allison and Crosby Galindo; her siblings, Roxanne Simonsen (Bruce) of Lyon, NE, Melinda Frankforter (Dave), Bellevue, Kirk Sr. Metzger (Sheila) and Kenny Metzger; and her grandparents, Clifton, Lydia Metzger, Mildred and Martin Lase. She was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
