He is survived by: his wife Susanne; his sons, Spencer (Harrisburg) and Shane Harris (Florida); his sisters, Linda Gillespie and JoAnne (Bert Jr.) Vanderwoude (Sioux Falls); his nephews, Barry Gillespie and Andy Vanderwoude (Kelly) of Edina, MN; his grandchildren, Brittany, Morgaine (Pennsylvania) and Bryce (Kansas); his uncle Gene Anderson; and his friend Ernie. He is also survived by five great-grandsons.
