David Allen Schmidt Obituary

The memory of David Allen Schmidt of Harrisburg, South Dakota, who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 70, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Schmidt and Adella Schmidt (Hohn); his brothers, Tom and Tim "Rubes" Schmidt; and his stepfather Edmund Heibel.

He is survived by: his daughter Nikki Schmidt of Seattle, WA; his siblings, Bob Schmidt (Linda) of Ft. Mohave, AZ, Carol Wilant (Mark) of Appleton, WI, Connie Gallup Allen (Dan) of Barrington, IL, Diane Duvall of Ft. Collins, CO, Janet Sedlacek (Mel) of Yankton, SD and Valerie Schmidt of Harrisburg, SD; and his sister-in-law Kris Schmidt of Mitchell, SD. He is also survived by many niece and nephews and cousins.

Unfortunately, he was forced to shut down due to Covid.
