He was predeceased by: his parents, George Furman and Delores Furman (Weifenbach); his daughters, Thresa and Misty; and his siblings, Robert, Gary and Penny Furman.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Gollnick; his children, Brad, Curtis, Lindsay, Derick, Missi and Sam; and his sister Georgia Lewis. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
