We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2022, at the age of 87, LaVonne Raap of Groton, South Dakota, born in Bristol, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Kirschman and Edna Kirschman (Langager); her husband Chuck Raap of Andover; her siblings-in-law, Wayne Holler, Burton Rademacher, Bert Raap, Steven Raap, John Van Dyke, Frank Novotny, Darlene Raap, Patricia Jeter Lackey and Joan Van Dyke; and her grandson-in-law Dale Olson.

She is survived by: her children, Kim Raap (Dee Dee), Kris Schneider (Bob), Pierre, Kevin Raap (Marcia Hiles) and Koni Sims (Seth); her grandchildren, Jessica Johnson (Aaron), Kelsey Halpern (Dave), Sara Odden (Matt), Kacie Greenwood (Phil), Brittany Tennant (Ryan), Melissa Spanier (Brandon), Misty Heck (Brandon), Chelsea Hildebrandt (Bubba) and Taylor Johnson (Tracy); her siblings, Karleen Holler, Ruth Rademacher and Judy McKiver (Gary) of Shakopee, MN; and her siblings-in-law, Kay Kranzler (Lyle), Laurel Kost (Bob), Allana Novotny of Wisner, NE, Jerry Raap (Carol) and Tom Raap. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
