He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bonn and Nina Bonn (Mereness); his wife Beverly Morehouse; and his siblings, Donnie, Richard, Eugene, Marvin, Blanche, Marlys, Carol, Lois and Margery.

He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Bonn (Gail) of Mobridge, SD; his grandson Brett Johnson (Abbie); his great grandchildren, Dylin and Max; his grandchildren, Jared, Allie and Patty Mattox (Rick) of Bel Air, MD; his great grandchildren, Ryan (Christel), Brent (Lia), Kyle, Cody, Penny Polasky (Michael) of Brandon, SD and Greg Bonn (Stacey) of Conde, SD; his siblings, Ronnie Bonn, Audrey Christenson, JoAnn Haar, Joyce Smith and MaryJo Geffre; and also, Isla, Kara, Kirstyn Ryan (Austin), Kenzie, Skyler Wadman (Tyler), Emmett, Paityn Craig (Braiden), Paxton (Taylor), Clint Bonn (Chris) of Madison, MN, Austin, Addyson, Aidyn and Aaron.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A prayer was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church (906 N 1st St, Groton, SD 57445).
