It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Henry Hogrefe of Gregory, South Dakota, born in Burke, South Dakota, who passed away on June 22, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hogrefe and Agnes Hogrefe (Tasler); his brother Richard Amand Hogrefe; his cousin Werner Wischmann; and his aunt Ann Tasler.
He is survived by: his nephew Terry Cerney; his brother-in-law George Pochop; his nephew Rod Pochop; his wife Frances Anna; his sons, Louis Hogrefe (Vicki) of Spearfish, SD, Terry Cerney (Julie) of Wesley Chappel, FL, Kent Hogrefe (Linda) of Gregory, SD and Jim Hogrefe (Janice) of Dallas, SD; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Muxfeldt, Jim and Marilyn Pochop. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
