He is survived by: his wife Pearl Adkins (Gortmaker); his stepdaughter Terri; his grandson Jordan; and his nieces and nephews, Richard Schlechter, Terry Schlechter (Mary), Alan Schlechter (Tara), Chad Schlechter (Trixie), Julie Flanagan (Brian), Andy Schlechter (Deidra), Doris Juhnke (Randy), Mike Schlechter, Ted Schlechter (JoEllen), Mary Neuhauser (Kevin), Jean Engen (Kevin), Carol Goodrich (Mike), Rob Schlechter (Sheila), Cindy Gerber (Gaylon) and Kathy Schulz (Jeff). He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.
