He is survived by: his former spouse Martie Beeler; his wife Shirlee Green (Ericson); his children, Rhett Schack (Annie) of Arlington, TX, Flynt Schack (Betty) of Tolstoy and Shawn Johnson (Ronnie) of Cresson, TX; and his siblings, Karis Schack (Doris) of Lincoln and Janice Haberer (Wyman) of Maple Plain, MN. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
