She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward O'Brien and Anna O'Brien (Leddy); her husband Lawrence Schulte; and her siblings, Bernard Patrick, Raymond, Merlin (Jack O'Brien) and Rita Ayers.

She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Taylor (Les) of Geddes, John (Deb) of Sioux Falls, Pat (Judy) of Rapid City, Kenny (Vonda) of Geddes, David (Cindy) of State Center, IA, Dan (Linda) of Geddes, Tom (Gail) of Geddes, Ray (Rhonda) of Casper, WY, Colleen Schulte of Sioux Falls, Angie Meyerink (Dean) of Geddes and Dale (Jill) of Cedar Falls, IA; her sister Florence Deaton of Saint Petersburg, FL; and her sisters-in-law, Luella Parthenay of Vancouver, WA, Loretta Larson, Sue Schulte of Geddes and Norma Schulte of Platte. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren with two more great-grandchildren.
