He is survived by: his wife Marlene of Corsica, SD; his children, Roberta Strehlow (Richard) of Geddes, SD, Ronald Hysell (Sherry) of Naples, FL, Donna Paulson of Geddes, SD, Dennis Hysell (Marlys) of Roscoe, SD and Brenda Hermanek (Ray) of Lake Andes, SD; his brothers, Robert Hysell (Annette) of Neosho, MO and Arthur Hysell (Jan) of Atkinson, NE; and his brother-in-law John Biggins of Sioux Falls, SD.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.
