It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Barta Jr. of Gayville, South Dakota, born in Yankton, South Dakota, who passed away on December 4, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert DeCora and Vivian DeCora; his grandson Zach Barta; and his brother Danny Barta. He is survived by: his wife Pam Barta of Gayville; his children, Brent Barta (Sara) of Vermillion and Emily Dimmer (Eric) of Gayville; his grandchildren, Trey Barta, Ayla and Paisley "Willis" Dimmer; his great grandchild Zoey Barta; his siblings, Linda Ryken of Sioux Falls, SD, Mike Barta (Judy) of Gayville, Donnie Barta (Myrna) of Sioux Falls and Debbie Barta of Freeman, SD; and his sister-in-law Carlene Barta of Gayville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
