She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David and Fern; her siblings, Teddy, Bev Kvistad (Jerome) and Gary Landmark (Mary Lou); and her sisters-in-law, Sue Landmark, Phyllis Wuerch (Raymond), Mavis Kannegieter (Lawrence), Wanda Eilers (Bob) and Lois Rasmussen (Neil).

In 2019 as Alzheimer's began to take its toll on Esther; Jim, who she so fearlessly stood by for so many years, loyally and compassionately cared for her.
