It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cherree M. Tongen of Gary, South Dakota, born in Canby, Minnesota, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Verle, Helen Anderson, Lavern Tongen (Ida) and Ellen Gottskalkson; her aunt Carol; her uncle Rocky; and her cousin Arloa.

She is survived by: her parents, Jerry and Sharon; her children, Cyanthia, Jacob and Ethan; her grandchildren, Collin and Jamison; her siblings, Becky, Amy and Jerry (LeAnne); and her close friend Schafer.
