He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bren and Gladys Bren (Westley); his son Kent; his wife Marlys Bren (Jensen); and his parents-in-law, Clarence and Alvina Jensen.
He is survived by: his children, Craig Bren (Edie) of Montrose, MN and Deb Stone (Craig) of Gary, SD; his grandchildren, Destiny Szech, Justin Bren (Julie), Matt Bren (Stephanie), Angela Knutson (Andy), Josh Christianson (Trista), Dallas Stone (Gina) and Kala Luciano (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Annika, Soren Szech, Jayce, Jayden Bren, Madison, Alivia Bren, Benjamin, Kyla, Camden, Riley Knutson, Dyllon, Ayden Christianson, Mya Stone, Hunter Kack and Alexa Luciano; his sister Shirley Denekamp; and his brother-in-law Elroy Severson.
